A day in NUH staff clinic
Yesterday was the most fug up or perhaps screwed up day in the month of Nov.
I was asked to go to NUH HR to sign a contract with Molecular Diagnostic Centre where i will be doing research on infectious diseases and taking my Master study in NUS.
After i had signed the contract, i was told to visit the staff clinic for a body checkup. Wah, that was seriously hell for me.
First, the "nurse" or "receptionist" spoke too soft! I could not even comprehend wad message was she tryin to tell me.
Second, she passed me this form. In one of de section, there was this chart with 2 columns labelled as "History" and "Vaccination" followed by few rows labelled with "HepB", "Measles", blah blah. So i was looking at this chart and i had no idea how am i supposed to fill up this chart. History means? Vaccination means? So i proceeded to ask her how do i fill up this since i had absolutely no clue on how to fill up this bloody form.
Third, a few mins later, another woman came into the clinic for body checkup also. So i was given the serve number number "8" and she was given number "9".
Rem tis impt fact, there were only 2 of us waiting for the body checkup in the clinic.So wen the serve number display showed 8, i proceeded to walk into the room with a "doctor" inside. Ya.. im not really sure is he a doctor.
So he took a look at the form which the "nurse" had passed to him earlier and asked.
Doctor: Are u Tek XXX XXX?"
Me: Hah?
Doctor: This not you? You are number 8 right?
Me: Yes, im number 8 but tis is not my name. (ZzzzZzzz)
Doctor: Oh, the nurse gave me the wrong form. (Walked out of the room to confirm with the nurse)
Doctor (back): Okay, your IC number is SXXXXXXXX?
Me: Yes.
Doctor: So u hab past history of this few diseases. (Proceeded to read some alien disease names)
Me (WTF??): HAH???
Doctor (stunned): This not written by you? (showed me the form which had a few disease names on it)
Me (sian 1/2): This is not my form...
Doctor: Oh! (Scan tru the other form) Den you are Lee Chun Kiat?
Me (god save me pls): Yes...
Fourth, he had to take my blood sample for diagnosing. So i was expecting that he would kindly first swab the area with ethanol (for disinfection) b4 poking the needle into my artery. I tink he forgot to do that cos the cotton gauage which he used to swap the area had no cooling effect at all. So i actually felt a pinch like sensation on my arms which i had never realised that wen i was in NUS clinic.
So after the checkup, i faster left the clinic. Scary man.. Now i jus hope that he or the nurse wun mix up my blood sample with the other.
Tts all folks on my most fug up experience in a clinic. Next, i wanna proceed to the next topic.

i mean my post is bias cos all is written by me As stated long ago, my blog is "bias". Yea, its true bcos its a one sided story. But y do i "" my bias? Bcos it may not be bias afterall. U deemed it as bias bcos it is a one sided story. But tink a while.. if u find that my points are bias, pls extract out my key pts and egs and asks her, "Did u actually said that? Did u actually use caps to talk to him?" Den u will get ur answer on whether my post is bias or not. Its so simple but yet surprisingly it seems so complicated to u all.
As my mood is damn good today. (HIV DNA standards had been sucessfully cloned by me and my colleague and today we are shipping 10 Influenza detection kits to TTSH. Finally, after much hard works, all will be completed today. ^^) I shall talk more on this theme called "Passby".
Wad is passby? How do u actually use passby?
Do u all noe? Passby is someone who without any purpose or accidentally come to this blog or i should call it a "fate". But this 2 passby, ya i refer to both of u. Hw did u get to my blog? Is it by chance u are visiting others ppl blog which had my link on it? Or u jus by a super duber fastest finger first typing with a 99% probabbility of entering a correct website which leads to mine? Or is it u actully went down to google or yahoo website and typed "the best blog of de world" and it actually came out mine? Wow, that u must tell me as i really wan to noe how de hell u managed to "passby" my blog.
The lame part is de "Another passby" actually noes that there is a "Passby" b4 him/her, thats y him/her actually put an extra "Another" in front. I was like OMFG? So will there be another passby calling him/herself as "Another another passby"? Or will there be a "Another passby who duno the another passby and the first passby"? Sory, not enuff space for u to key in such long descriptions.
I suggest u all create a more creative one like "Im a postman", "Im a negotiator", "Im a counsellor", "Im a Exorcist", "Im a Spy", blah blah blah..

IN fact, the others actually felt de same way as i had felt on 2 separate occasions. Wad a coincidence? And they din even noe that i encountered de same problem with her. So now there is actually 3 sides of de story which is 2 against 1. If u realli wan to noe de whole story, i tink u wun even hab enuff time to read de whole book. 1 person, 2 different kinds of attitude
Im really puzzled by this. How can 1 person be so different in real life and maple.
I had stressed this many times. How can she be so diff?
Does playing maple too much turns someone into a completely diff person? Is like she has super low tolerance level wen she was playin maple.
Wen i chat with her in msn, she sounds okay and sweet. But wen i went into maple, i seriously dun even want to talk to her after seeing her replies. Her replies were either really turn off or plain irritating.
For eg, wen she was helpin me sellin items in her shop. I actually told her nicely that she can reduce the price to this amount. Her reply was "Yea i know. Im not stupid." Simply a "yea i know" is sufficient but why does she have to add a "Im not stupid". I still dun understand why.. In de first place, who told her she is stupid? Definitely not me.. Why would i call her stupid in de first place? That answer is really a turn off..
Next eg, this time i set up my own shop bcos i do not wan to meet the above situation again. But i want to noe a cheap price of a mage overall that i can put so that people will actually buy them. As she had tried to sell the same mage overall previously in her shop but no one bought them. So i wanted to noe wad is the price she actually put in her shop. Hence i asked in a nice way, "Dar, las time u sell ur mage overall, how much did u sell it at?" Well, her reply was "NPC. No people will buy. Thay will go hunt." Okay.. The answer is still far from wad i wanted to noe. So nvm, i repeat my question again. "So what price did u put?" Now shes getting irritated. Her reply "I TOLD U I NPCED THE OVERALLS. NO PPL WILL BUY. I TOLD YOU JUST NOW LE. CAN U SEE?" Another turn off reply with caps somemore.. Den i started to argue with her again and in de end she did give me a price range which is quite a big range... And i kip quiet after that. Simply bcos i dun wan to talk to her anymore.
Pls tell me wad ahd happened to her? Is it really me being too sensitive? But i can oni say she was not like that wen i first noe her.. SHe claimed that she nv changed after i confronted her. And she will become extra sweet de next few weeks or so. Den her patterns will slowly come back to hunt you again. I can oni say its back again for now.
Las night, she actually said F > My dar. After that she said that she miss me. So i told her "Come find me lo." Her reply was "Dar, im having 2x drop with ting." You noe how i feel? Is like wad she had been typing are actually "Feng Liang Hua" Her buddies seeing what she had typed may be tinking wah this guy so lucky got such a sweet dar blah blah blah. But wad they duno is what did i typed? But did they noe im tryin to ask her come and find me and yet she gave me a reason that she having 2x tts y she cant find me? Bcos her 2x is more impt den me?
After gettin her reply, i kip quiet again bcos i actually get de feeling of dunwan to talk to her anymore in maple as i noe if i talked more to her, she will get irritated again.
She started to call for me. In de end, i hab to reply since she told me tat my bad point is i always kip everyting to myself that why sometimes a small ting will becomes a very big ting. Okay, so i told her that im not happy with her not comming to find me even tou she had been typing "I miss u, F > my dar blah blah blah." But she totally dun understand why i was angry. She tot im angry bcos she was with ting. She even added in the fact that ting is a girl. Why should he be jealous over a gal.. I tried to explain again but she couldn't hear it anymore. Her reply was "I dunwan to argue with u and ur theory anymore." Okay.. SO i presumed that was the end of discussion. But anyway this time i did told her why i was angry which i had promised her. But she got the wrong idea on why i was angry and she even decided not to probe further oso. After that , she proceeded to tell her buddies that i was jealous becos she was with a gal. ZzzzZzz even tou i dun really care cos its not de truth anyway.
And she even said tat why should i go and find u and u cannot go and find me? Wah this really ticks me off. Bcos this someone actually told me tat she will do anyting if i actually tell her to. Bcos im more impt to her. That wad she said during the guild leaving incident. She said that if i asked her to leave guild now, she will leave bcos im more impt. But i wun do that bcos i will be a lame person if i will to ask her leave guild now. But las nite i actually told her to "come and look for me". Yet she told her buddies alot of other reasons why she dunwan to come. All listed below:
1) Shes on 2x.
2) No slot for her. (Im actually soloing for the whole 3hrs but she assumed that im in a party. Thats fine.)
3) I also cannot talk to her since im bz chionging. (She assuming me that since im in a pt i wun be able to chat with her. Thats fine also.)
4) Why mus she go find him?
Actaully, the reasons she gave are all acceptable to me bah. But jus disappointed that wad she had told me are not entirely the truth. Im more impt to her den maple. This fact i hab to reconsider again. What she had told me and wad she had done actually showed me the opposite.
I really dun wan to talk to her anymore. But the funny ting is she is not lidat wen we are chatting in msn. LOL! Shes actualli a totally diff person in maple. She more confident inside maybe bcos she felt that she noe alot of maple ting. She is like a Pro with a pro guild. That's why she cannot actually tolerate any questions posed on her. She din even read and understand wad i am tryin to type in maple. And in de end she will use caps to tell me that im blind bcos she had already replied my question. Im not stupid and i am not blind. I did read your answers but you had given a toatlly out of point answer. Thats why i actualli rephrased my question which was more specific so that you will be able to follow up wad i am tryin to ask from you. But it really disappoints me wen you turned around and screamed in caps that i had answered your questions already, pls scroll up to look for your answers.
And she is the one who told me that communication is impt in a relationship and yet she failed to apprehend the points which i am tryin to bring across to her. Or should i say not failed to apprehend is she dun even want to apprehend wad im tryin to ask of her.
