Okay, next ting. Tis mornin wake up at 9.45am den quickly brush teeth and prepare to go out to IMM. Jus wear T-shirt and short with a cap.. LoLx!! Den de funny ting happen wen we were waiting to pay the cashier in Giant. We q at de cashier which only allow people who buyin 10 or more items d. Den this auntie come and ask my mother whether this is de Q. So she stand in front of me.. I was lik WTH??
But nvm, since my mother is stil at de front so i walk out of de q and stand beside my mother since im blocking de way with de basket. Den after a while de auntie see mi holding the basket, ask mi y i dunwan q up. I reply my mother is q'ing. Den she like stunned. Say my mother so young ar. Blah Blah Blah..
Den talk about my sis den ask my mother am i studying in poly ==" My mother ask mi to reply her so i reply "da xue" (my pingyin sucks.. But my chinese is A de hor. LoLx!!) Den de next ting, she say is "Wah. Handsome boy!!" and pat my shoulder. ZzzzzzZzzzZz...

Den after a while, someting funny happen again. One uncle walk over de auntie's basket. Den she shout "Wah Uncle.. where got people walk over people's thing. Luckily, u are not a ger if not i sure scold u!!"
Y mus ger den can scold leh? Cos las time old generation are superstitious and gender bias. If a ger walk over your ting, u will suay for duno how long. Someting lidat la.. Eveyone laugh lo but not laugh in public la.. Is wan laugh dun laugh that kind. After paying for our stuffs, we faster leave de place, hope dun meet de auntie again =.=

Las nite went to have a jog with shan (maple buddy), den reached home at 9+. Den go bathed lo and Ting called mi to chat. After that, i called Joan for another chat till 2+ cos she and her bf quarrel so i tried to help to calm her lo. Obviously, i failed. LoLx!! Den she said she tired liao den we 2 concussed till today 11.30 den we woke up. Sian sia, woke up straight away tio headache. So concuss again in bed but woke up by Joan's sms followed by Ting's sms. ZzzzzZ..
Anyway, Joan and her bf tingy settled and they were back together again. So im relieved. =D So now stil got one more ting to settle, this is the most headache ting. Story goes lik this.. Ting smsed mi and asked me for help. She wan mi to act as her hp bf bcos one guy wan her to b his gf. But she dun lik him and lied to him that she got "bf" le. So i am her supposed fake "bf". So everyting ok, i jus sms her some sms with laogong, laopo terms lo so that the guy will giv up. Ya, i feel quite weird la.. These terms i oni used when i sms with Mandy las time. One of them whom i love alot. But since im helpin a fren so okay lo. Den the ting i feared most came las nite. Ting smsed me and wan mi to b her real bf. My reply was "Dots.." I hate this kind of feeling. Now, it is givin me a headache!!

Update blog again. Hahax!! These few days did not blog bcos nuthin to blog. But not busy playing Maple la, but busy reading novels. Cos i start to go library again. Den Clive Cussler and Michael Crichton gort new novels le!! Woot!! I like to read their books. One word "SHIOK" !!
M.C got 2 new novels, 1 calls State of Fear which is about Environmental problems. Do u believe? There is environmental activists or aka terrorists. LoLx!! They kill people by encouraging more storms and floods tru technologies and use media as tools to amplify their cause that all these disasters are due to our famous "Global Warming".
M.C's stand in his book is that Global Warming is non existant(will state y later). I kinda agree tou. Does anyone know that actually we are going tru a small ice age period? Wad do i mean ice age? It means that actually our current weather is consider cold and not hot compared to billion of years ago. Well, i learnt it from a module in nus during year 1. And de prof always gets to talk in Channel News Asia last time for his opinions on the Tsunami and Kyoto's treaty. How i noe? Cos i get to see it on TV mobile while going to school. This prof and M.C's stand are different. My prof believed in global warming and increasing carbon dioxide is the main cause of global warming. Apparently, M.C dun buy that bullshit as there had been evidence that rising of CO2 does not increase global warming.
Another thing, most people believed that global warming leads to increase rise in sea level. Well, i do believe. But, from what M.C found from the science journals, it turned out to be. Sea level remain almos the same or doesn't change at all. Shocking huh? I was shocked. After finished reading his book, i kinda change my opinions on nature and other thing. So now i looking forward to his latest novel called "Prey". Cant find it so hopefully i can find it when i returned the books. ^^

The past history of human belief is a cautionary tale. We have killed thousands of our fellow human beings bcos we believed they had signed a contract with the devil, and had become witches. We still kill more than a 1000 people each year for witchcraft. In my view, there is only 1 hope for humankind to emerge from what Carl Sagan called "the demon-haunted world" of our past. That hope is science.
But as Alston Chase put it, "when the search for truth is confused with political advocacy, the pursuit of knowledge is reduced to the quest for power."
That is the danger we now face. And that is why the intermixing of science and politics is a bad combination, with a bad history. We must remember the history and b certain that wad we present to the world as knowledge is disinterested and honest.
