A day in MapleSEA foruming

Was kinda boring and came across this thread. And i quite displeased with the way where a grp of forumers ganged up to "bully" a ger who had already quitted maple.
So i decided to intervene from page 3 onwards. =x

Are you trying to threaten her with banning cos from what you had posted, you sounded as if you threatened to ban her account if she did not teach her fren how to talk politely?

You should be flamming the one who use that account to ks your frens and not her. Make this clear in your head and be more thoughtful and polite in your tone also.

Eg. i can report to gm that u are harrasing.. although u are not playing that time.. ur character can be banned.. and ur cash thing still in there.. MAYBE.. if u get banned.. u see how much money u use on these pixel.. and is ur friend fault+ur fault for letting this happen.

The "u" should be changed to "your character". Cause she is not the one who use that character to ks your frens at that point of time. Make this clear.

My main point, use your ammo to shoot the right person and not the innocent ones. You all are taking out your frustration on the wrong person and usin her as a "substitute" to vent your own unhappiness.

There's so many high levels with share accounts in MapleSEA, even if it does violate the terms and conditions so what? The company also never do anything. If you want to complain about that, complain to that company.

I agree that it is your fault to entrust your ID and PW to the wrong person and got hacked. Thats why you cant unbanned your character in PCBuck.

But i dun agree that you are hold accountable if your friend ks-ed using your character when the original player had quitted. If that's the case, i think you have to account for almost everything in your life.

Eg. I sold a bottle of beer to someone. Suddenly the someone use the bottle to club another guy. Im accountable cos i sold him the beer?


Within 5 minutes i got his attention =x ....

These 2 phrasings u go and read carefully. They have such intentions such as threatening to ban the account if she do not follow your "order".

Nice way.. Since you are trying to give advise, i think u can skip away the behind part. Cause it makes u sound harsh or sounds like hypocrite who is trying to boast to everyone here that u can ban her if u want at that point of time but u being an angel, decided to give her a chance.

Not trying to flame u here. Just trying to make this place less hostile for her to reply back.

U must understand the feeling of her when she's not the one who is at fault here and yet had to answer to all of u and she even said sorry for wads her fren had done.

So gives her a break.

yea, i totally agree on your 2nd point.

Especially the "accountabilty differs in different situation." I totally agree on this.

But for your 1st point on "if people get away with murder for the authrity doesn't care,does that mean that murdering is right? or does that mean that it is okay to murder since the authority doesn't even care?", this is not the same situation as "giving away her ID and PW which leads to the ks."

Did anyone got killed in r/l? Did anyone got hurted in r/l?

Rule is still a rule.. You are wrong. A rule without the power to uphold is nothing to everyone. Only the one with power are able to ensure that the rules are being upholded whether ingame or r/l. This company obviously dun have the power to ensure that most of their rules are being followed or they just dunwan to show that power in this situation. So what power do u have to ensure that she follows the rule or maybe ensure that the company keeps to their rules?

So in the end, complain to the company. *shrug*

My main point, y blow up such a small matter to the extent of accountability? Now even the one who is not controlling the character in game is not spared. KSes occur everyday, maybe every minute. Its the life of MS.

Instead of trying to find some innocent party to find fault with, y not just go find the one who is responsible to flame? Your ammos are aimed at the wrong person. And the one who is responsible is still in school joking and playing while the innocents are being blamed for doing nothing.

i agree with the point where "finding the right person to flame" it is true,that i am no one to ensure that she follows the rule,cause, i am not actually ensuring it, i am only stating the fact that rules are rules,and sharing account violates the rule...that is all i am pointing out at the first place.

thirdly, Yes, KS in FOG is normal as it occurs frequently, it is not about blowing this matter to accountabilty, it is related in this situation. i am merely just stating out my 2 cents worth. =)

Yup, i think u made all our points quite clear now and i agree with most of them.

But it will be nicer if u can give suggestions on what she can do instead of just giving facts.

My question: She had already apologized since she decided to take all responsibilities. But you are not asking her to apologize nor get her fren into trouble. So what do you suggest for her to do in order to hold responsibility? Keep quiet? Jump down from building? Continue let people flame her?

Lastly, i am only stating the fact that rules are rules only when they are being upholded by the one with power. If not, rules are just black and whites words which are nothing but thrashes. Somemore for an online game which is not real.

No one got killed in real life, however, our emotions are very real, the time spent in game is very real as well, so yes, someone did get hurt(there's no hurted) in real life, mentally, not physically. if we don't care, how do you suppose the company will care. Make it short, if you don't complain to your parents you don't have enough money to spent ( as a child ) do you think most parents would think that you do not have enough money to use? Why not blow it up? I'll give you a very good personal experience, do you think most teachers will care when you get called names(by bullies eg : dog, nerd , etc) i can tell you most teacher won't care about such things. However, if you blow it up to the point where you start fighting, teachers will start showing more concern. Main point : People lack moral, People needs to make someone to be more pathetic than them before they can feel comfort. THINGS HAS TO BE BIG BEFORE PEOPLE START NOTICING IT.

I agree with the point that the original user should not be blamed to such an extent, try being more cool when dealing with such parties ok? TS?

So what if KSes occurs everyday? Are you saying since crimes are commited everyday we should just let it slip under our noses? should we just let it be a way of life? i think not.

How can we find the right person to flame? so many people uses that account, we pm it every now and then to find out who it was? even if it was, it wasn't his/her char, of course most likely he/she wouldn't give half a d@mn about it.

Ammo aimed at the wrong person? the least xiaosamm ( original user ) can do is to seal that account up rather than let it be misused again. Or does she fail to understand the importance of human emotions? i'll explain to you, if this was what happened to you... no "you" is not strong enough, if this happened to your friends ( very important ones ) you think you'll just let it slip instead of trying to find a solution to end such scenarios?

U are really a great entertainer.

1st para - So what do you do when u get hurt mentally? Go take ether? Or take chloroform or nitric oxide or anasthesia to alleviate your mental pain? I suggest you quit online games for good and get a life. But u can choose not to follow tou.

2nd para - So what had the company done after 2+ yrs of such cases ranging from bad to worst being discussed in here? Or are they not big enough to be noticed. Com'on la!! They choose not to. Lol!! U think Asiasoft is some sort like your mother or father? I tell u.. you are the father and mother of the company cos u are the one who pay them pocket money and bonus every year!!

3rd para - In the previous para, u said this "Humans have morals, do you lack moral? ". Now, u say this "Main point : People lack moral". Ironic?

For your very good eg of your personal experience, are you the one who got bullied in school and the teacher ignored you when u told them? If that's the case, i pity u. U can give me your name, class and school, i will help u inform the principal about this matter if its in SG.

5th paragraph - I already made it clear that ingame and r/l are 2 different situations, my point is further amplified by leofwacor's "different situations".

Btw, there are rules and laws for detering crime. And the power comes from the governments. For the "sharing account rule" in game, the company states it as a rule but they did not use their power to ensure that no one violates that rule. So according to the definition of rule, that rule is thrash.

6th paragraph - cannot find the real person so flamed the innocent one?

7th paragraph - Why should she sealed it when it is a shared account? That account is not entirely hers for now. If everything in r/l as simple as that to settle, i think we will be living in Utopia.

She had apologized and stated that she had quitted that account. Do u fail to understand the importance of human emotions? Right now, she has nothing to do with this ks war physically. U all are directing all the flames to her as the only source to vent your anger on as u all cannot locate the one who is responsible.

Overall points for you only:

If u want to find a solution, go do it yourself physically. Foruming and ranting here is easy but actions will be difficult. Talk alot but no action done is = back to square 1. You can suggest alot which u think maybe applicable but in actual fact is not practical to the others. So whether the party want to take in your preaching depends on the party.
